Mission :

         Your mission—if you choose to accept it—is to construct a parachute that will deliver an egg safely to the ground when dropped. No fancy materials allowed! You can only use familiar household items like plastic bags and string. Do you think you have what it takes to construct this gravity-defying wonder? Be careful: a sloppy parachute will result in a yolky mess!

Rules and guidelines:

• Only two members per team is allowed to participate.

• Team members can be from various colleges.

• Participants are allowed only to use the materials given by us. Use of material other than the given will be lead to disqualification.

• Max allowed time to make this model is 45 minutes.

Prelims:

• The model is dropped from a certain height.

• The egg should be kept as a payload.

• If egg is broken while landing, the team is disqualified.

• The model that lands safe will be moved to finals.

Finals:

• In this round the endurance of the model is tested.

• The model is again dropped from the same distance.

• The model should attain two criteria (i.e) the egg should not break and the model must deliver a long endurance.

• The team achieves this wins.
